My two daughters had taken piano lessons for a number of years, but it became a challenge to sustain their interest in this area. We were extremely delighted to subsequently have Niki Teo tutor my daughters in piano study.

Niki is wonderful with children and is able to sustain my daughters broader interest in music, even encouraging and eventually have one of my daughters play the piano and sing to an audience. My daughters never fail to enjoy lessons with Niki and it has been a pleasure having her both as a friend and music teacher to my daughters. With that rare combination of student empathy and enthusiasm for teaching , I am certain Niki as an extremely long runway in her teaching career.

My children have been going to Niki's Music Studio for singing classes for the past 1.5 years. All teachers are extremely competent but also super caring. Teacher Niki, teacher Shizuka and teacher Daniel are just amazing. They bonded very well with the children, encouraged them along the way, corrected them with calm and a fun attitude and supported them through the Trinity rock&pop singing exams. Additionally, teacher Niki has helped create a music arrangement for my children to be able to offer a 'singing present' to their grandparents and she has put her heart and soul in helping with that. During circuit breaker or other restriction periods (when singing classes had to stop), the teachers immediately organised either for video classes to be done remotely or for piano playing classes which my children also appreciated very much. I would highly recommend Niki's Music Studio for children of all ages who love music, want to learn singing or playing an instrument and want to be treated as individuals, each with own skills and talents. My children loved every single class so far!.

I have known Niki for about 6 months as a Vocal coach at a music school in Singapore. I have found her to be very committed, sincere and extremely passionate about her job. She has a very strong ear for music with strong understanding for both music theory & concepts.

In my working with Niki, I found she has a brilliant ability o guide and work with people across ages, cultures and experience. My son Alex started his musical journey when he was five with Shizuka and Nikki and has been learning to play the piano. Alex has progressed quickly and very well under Shizuka's guidance, thoroughly enjoyed his classes and and now has a genuine interest in learning to play the piano. He has fun, learns, enjoys himself and is always happy to go to class which is all we could ask for.

The school is a really lovely school, very well run, full of heart, love and care for their students and a real family feel. All of the team at Nikki's Music Studio are warm and engaging people. The small things are done really well, such as gifts on children's day, invoicing is easy and efficient and nothing is too much trouble for Nikki and her team (Nikki dropped some stickers at our house to help with Alex's on-line learning). At no point do you feel like your children are a number in a big music school.

I would thoroughly recommend Nikki, Shizuka and the team to anybody who is looking for a great place for their children to start their musical journey!

In 2017, I had the pleasure of having Niki as my piano teacher.

As an adult learner with no prior experience in piano, I was initially nervous and
unconfident during lessons.

Niki, however, was always calm, reassuring and
patient. She taught in a fun and engaging manner that suited my learning style,
and her vivacious, down to earth nature never failed to put me at ease. I looked
forward to lessons with her every week.

Any teacher can teach the fundamentals of music, but Niki instilled confidence in
me. She had faith in my abilities even when I did not trust myself. As a result, I’m
constantly inspired to put an effort to deliver my very best.

In just seven months, my skills improved tremendously and I’ve had an
experienced pianist tell me “I’ve never seen a beginner play like that before”. Not
to toot my own horn – this was possible only because Niki was a determined
teacher who committed to bring out the best in her students.

I cannot recommend Niki more. She sparked up my joy of learning, and that’s
something I’m always grateful for!
