As his piano accompanist for 3 exam pieces, I am happy to announce that Jin Hao scored a Distinction in his grade 1 Violin examination just early this month -September 2019. With Mr Robert examiner (Picture Left), & Mr Chan who was previously from Singapore Symphony Orchestra, SSO (Picture Right).
Attached is a short clip of us on the song piece, "Pitlochry" by Christopher Norton (No. 15 from the Microjazz Violin Collection 1). Without quoting his words, Jin Hao plays the violin with his eyes closed. He says playing the violin with his eyes shut allows him to feel his violin playing on the song much more! I am sharing this because it serves as an inspiration and reminder to us - It is important to feel the music each time we play or sing!
